In December 2012, Bradken commissioned a new state-of-the-art, low alloy steel foundry in Xuzhou, China.
The A$87 million greenfield foundry was officially opened on the 18th April 2013 in front of government
dignitaries, employees and guests. To date, Bradken has invested A$130 million into the region making the
Company the third largest Australian “Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise” operating in China.*
