The year started with two
small stands in developing
markets for Bradken, Expomin
2010 held in Santiago,
Chile, and OzMine 2010
held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Both stands highlighted the
capabilities of the Mining
Products Division and the
Power & Cement Division.
Although small stands, these
shows allowed Bradken to
promote its capabilities, meet
potential customers and most
importantly, gain a greater
understanding of the market.
The 2010 Oil Sands Trade
Show and Conference staged
at Fort McMurray in Alberta,
Canada provided an excellent
opportunity to establish our
presence in the oil sands
market, and introduce our
range of products and
services to the industry.
Featured Bradken products
included chromium carbide
overlay pipe, expansion
barrels for piping and slurry
transfer, wear plate and block
and crawler systems.
“The Bradken booth
received a lot of interest from
attendees. The contacts made
and good leads generated
should create very promising
business opportunities,” said
Jared Milligan, Marketing
Coordinator of Bradken’s
Edmonton facility.
As the second-largest mining
show in the world, the Electra
Mining Show held in the South
African city of Johannesburg
was an excellent platform from
which to stamp the Bradken
name on the market.
“Customers from a large
spread of the mining industry
across southern Africa
attended the Show. Our stand
