Steve’s Story
In 1993 Steve was asked
to spearhead the start-up
operation of the Amite facility.
What started out as a six
week project has turned into
his career passion. Steve is
honest, loyal, dedicated, and
hardworking. He is a true
leader, one with high integrity
and professionalism whose
actions are always conducted
in an ethical manner.
Throughout his career Steve
has been the “Go-To” guy for
all levels of the organisation
and not just for Amite, but to
each facility in the Engineered
Products Division.
Steve has the unique ability
to put together effective
teams to find solutions to our
most pressing challenges.
As a 6-Sigma Master
Black Belt he has been
summoned to help with a
variety of functions including
production, engineering, safety,
accounting, sales and quoting
where he uses his exemplary
analytical skills to make
informed decisions.
He is an excellent teacher
having developed a curriculum
and then instructed employees
on Shop Math, Blueprint
Reading, Lean Manufacturing,
6-Sigma and STOP. Steve
has worked with both
universities and technical
colleges to develop courses
that will benefit Bradken.
His outstanding service to
the Company means he is
a very worthy winner of the
Bradken Award.

Steve’s thought’s
on winning the
North American
Bradken Award
“It was an honour to be
nominated for a Bradken
Award. When my name
was called for winning, I was
virtually speechless. To be
recognised for doing the job
you enjoy, working with the
people you like and respect
is a humbling experience.
I am very proud to have
received the award and
I hope I can continue to live
up to the Bradken Values.”
