ICQ, the most recently acquired
Bradken facility, is based in the
Brisbane suburb of Acacia
Ridge and employs 45 people.
It is the latest member of
Bradken’s Industrial Division.
Focused on the production of
castings up to 25kg, the Acacia
Ridge manufacturing facility
uses investment casting
methods to produce both
ferrous and non-ferrous parts,
including duplex stainless
steels for the general industrial
and mining markets.
The investment casting process
offers tight tolerances with fine
detail and surface finish, as well
as minimal aftercast processing.
This complements Bradken’s
evolving rapid prototyping and
pattern making capabilities.
General Manager, Industrial
Division, Matthew Criss said,
“Existing customers of ICQ will
now benefit from Bradken’s
broader manufacturing resources,
flexibility and sales support.”
“Additionally, many existing
Bradken customers will benefit
from our expanded and more
comprehensive product offering.”
“The high skilled crew at Acacia
Ridge will play a critical role in the
development of Bradken’s range
of consumable products across
a number of market sectors.”
“We welcome them to the
Bradken family and hope
that they find their career
with us safe, challenging
and rewarding.”
