Bradken opens
full-service operations
in South Africa
Bradken has increased its
global presence by opening its
newest full-service operation
in Jet Park, Johannesburg,
to service the African
mining market.
Executive General Manager,
Enda Sheridan said the new
operation was an exciting
step for Bradken.
“We have sold our mineral
processing, crawler system
and wear products in Africa for
a long time now,” Enda said.
“We listened to our customers
and mine operators and
identified a need for reliable
and consistent supply of
products for the mining industry.
“This new facility at Jet Park
demonstrates Bradken’s
commitment to the African
market – we are here to stay.
We have invested in Africa
and look forward to growing
and supporting their fixed
and mobile plant needs.”
Another step in Bradken’s
global expansion, the Jet
Park facility joins Bradken
operations in the United
States, China, Chile, New
Zealand, Canada, Indonesia
and the United Kingdom.
The Jet Park facility includes
a large warehouse and office
and is staffed by six full-time
personnel all committed to
providing a new Bradken
service experience.
The operations were
established to bring the
full range of Bradken
differentiated consumable and
capital products to the African
mining market. Products
currently available include

Bradken’s world class
undercarriage systems for
mining class excavators, mill
liners and crushers as well as
customised wear solutions for
fixed and mobile applications.
From July, the new range of
Bradken ground engaging
tools, buckets and rigging for
draglines, excavators and all
smaller mine machinery will
also be available.
The new infrastructure will
service the African mining
market with Bradken’s
innovative product solutions,
while also servicing key
market sectors, such as rail,
transit, energy and industrial.
Enda said Bradken’s African
operation would be well
serviced by Bradken facilities
located all over the world,
ensuring our differentiated
products are available from
our Jet Park warehouse
when they are needed.
