Coinciding with unprecedented
expansion and an increase
in capital investment in the
Australian mining market today,
Bradken’s own continued
growth and success made it
appropriate to have a visible
presence at this event.
Bradken’s stand housed seven
separate displays across all
Businesses, including:
• Cast Lip system with Penetrator
and Defender GET products
• Plate Lip system with Twistlok
and Defender GET products
• Bradken Harmonise™
Rigging System featuring
the patented ISE (Integrated
Socket Equaliser) system
• Crawler System Evolution®
shoe, sprocket and roller
• Model Mineral Processing
Mill System including
Bullnose® and Vortex®
• Fixed Plant display showing
the Versatile® product range
• Bradken Construction Blades
Attracting visitors from all over
the world AIMEX was a major
opportunity for the GET &
Buckets Business to launch its
innovative new range of products.
Existing and potential customers
had the opportunity to view
scale models of the products,
including an impressive 5 metre
wide Cast Lip with GET weighing
over 11 tonne, and to speak
to our knowledgeable team of
sales and product staff about
the benefits these products
could bring to their operations.
The draw of the new GET range
also proved beneficial for the
other Bradken Businesses.
Regional Sales Manager for
Crawler Systems Sam Hunt
said that he managed to secure
a sale of Crawler product to
an existing customer of the
GET & Buckets Business.
“An existing GET customer
visited the stand and noticed the
Crawler Systems undercarriage
components on display which
prompted them to enquire about
componentry to suit their Hitachi
EX5500 excavator,” Sam said.
“The enquiry has since led to
orders being taken for two
complete front idler assemblies
and some spare crawler shoes.”
“Whilst the customer was
already familiar with the GET &
Buckets Business, the ability to
see the components up close
has led to the first Crawler
Systems sale to this site.”
Bradken’s participation in AIMEX
this year would not have been
possible without the effort of the
foundries and staff that worked
exceptionally hard to get these
products designed, manufactured
and ready for exhibition. Special
thanks goes to the Muswellbrook
facility who worked day and
night to get all the GET products
completed and painted in time
The effort of the Marketing team
should also be recognised in
creating a display that was
remarked by AIMEX organisers
as being ‘one of the best, if not
the best’ displays of the event.
Thank you to all for a
great team effort.
