Job Fair to be held March 31 in Amite

BATON ROUGE, La. – Bradken, with support from Louisiana FastStart, is scheduled to host a job fair Thursday, March 31, at the Florida Parishes Arena, 1301 Northwest Central Ave., Amite, LA 70422. Orientation sessions will be offered every half hour from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The job fair will target applicants interested in hourly positions at the company’s expanded facility in Amite. Positions will include highly skilled welders, arc and oxy-fuel cutters, core makers, grinders and general laborers.

Bradken’s expansion will create 171 new direct jobs with an average annual salary of $37,500, plus benefits, and 233 indirect jobs. Bradken expects to complete the facility expansion in approximately 18 months.
