Overview
Skidblock is a severe sliding abrasion resistant pad that offers superior wear protection compared to Q&T wear plates and other exotic wear resistant steel alloys.
Skidblock can be supplied with a standard mild steel backing plate for welding or studs can be attached for easy installation.
Applications
Skidblock is commonly used as a wear pad on high capacity and heavy-duty buckets for loaders, excavators and dippers. Skidblock is also used on a wide range of other mobile and fixed plant applications, such as:
- Quick fix for localised wear trouble areas
- Chute liners
- Bucket liners
- Grizzly cappings
- Transfer points
- Conveyor liners
