Xuzhou is a heavy industry centre with a highly skilled workforce in the areas predominantly required by Bradken for high quality rail fabrications

Xuzhou is a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise (WOFE).

Xuzhou staff were trained in Australia in Bradken facilities and will produce to Bradken specifications and quality procedures

Bradken Xuzhou – Stage 1 Operational

• 20 m x 6 m, 4 head plasma cutting bed
• 6 m Guillotine up to 16mm thickness
• 12 m / 500 tonne press
• 1200 mm x 1200 mm 350 tonne press
• 2 bays with each with 4 cranes 20 – 10 – 10 – 20 (each 20 has a secondary 5)
• 20m x 6 m Paint Booth
• 20 m x 6 m Blast Chamber
• Reticulated Natural Gas / Oxygen / Compressed Air / 2 Welding Gasses - mixing Stations

Construction

The facility was built in 162 days with 130 construction days

• 3 bays with each with 5 cranes 10 – 20 – 20 – 20 - 25 (each 20 & 25 has a secondary 5)

• Reticulated Natural Gas / Oxygen / Compressed Air / 2 Welding Gasses - mixing Stations

Wagon Build Capabilities

With the addition of our Xuzhou fabrication facility Bradken’s Rail Division has significantly increased its freight wagon capability to meet the expanding needs of its customers.
