Area Manager- Johannesburg, South Africa

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Manager to join our Johannesburg office.

What you’ll do:

You will lead and motivate the team to consistently deliver excellent customer service and sales results. Reporting into the Sales Manager Western Australia and Africa, the main purpose of this role is to deliver KPIs and performance objectives in line with the customer sales plan and strategy. Using your commercial expertise you will drive sales, manage cost control, maximise profitability, as well as manage a team of highly skilled sales professionals.

Understanding the customer base in-depth and analysis will be essential to your strategy, using data to spot key trends and plan commercial strategies that maintain the existing and developing new customer relationship is key. Your challenge will be to maximise sales, uphold standards and keep customers coming back, it will be down to you to lead, develop and inspire your team.

You will maintain strong relationships with our key internal and external stakeholders and work closely with them to resolve any challenges that arise.

Who we’re looking for:

Currently you will be working in a similar position and delivering a high standard of results with the drive and passion to use your expertise to grow the business. You will be focused on delivering results and possess sharp commercial acumen.

You’ll also need to be impeccably organised with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Lastly, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed leadership ability and will be at ease whether speaking to your team members, customers or briefing senior management.
