BRADKEN APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Simon Linge has this month been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bradken.
The Bradken Board and HCM management are pleased to announce the appointment, which will take effect in the coming months.
Chairman Phil Arnall said Mr Linge would bring well rounded industry knowledge and international leadership experience to drive performance and innovation at Bradken.
“Simon has the depth and breadth of skills we need to take Bradken forward into our new era,” Mr Arnall said.
“With a long history in international leadership roles at Bluescope Steel, Simon will lead the business to develop and strengthen our synergies with HCM to increase the value for both organisations’ customer bases.”
Mr Linge said he was looking forward to joining the senior management team and leading the execution of the challenges ahead.
“There is tremendous potential in Bradken, its people and its future,” he said.
“Bradken clearly has underlying strengths that attracted HCM to invest in the business.
“I look forward to building on these strengths to deliver the long-term plans, enhance Bradken’s offering to customers and drive the business to increase its market share in key areas by making the most of the opportunities available with HCM.”
Mr Linge has held key leadership roles with Bluescope Steel including President ASEAN and President Indonesia, President New Zealand and Pacific Islands, President Coated Steel in China and Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Graduate Diplomas in Supply Chain Management and Executive Management.
