Undergraduate Accountant- Newcastle, NSW
Bradken is a leading solutions provider and global manufacturer of innovative, custom engineered products for the resources sector. It operates a global network of manufacturing, sales and service facilities employing about 3,000 people.
The Undergraduate Accountant will be based in Newcastle, NSW.
The role will be responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of the general ledger and associated sub-systems. As well as the consolidated reporting functions of Bradken’s Corporate finance unit. This is a multifaceted role providing administration support to the Finance team as required.
Work hours will be negotiated to suit completion of your study commitments.
To be considered you will be working towards completion of your Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting or Commerce and be able to demonstrate:
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Intermediate Excel, Word & Outlook skills
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work
- Prior accounting experience or exposure is desirable
- Reliable, punctual, team worker with good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to commence CA/CPA accreditation
