Bradken Wodonga Celebrates 70 Years of Innovation and Excellence
Bradken’s foundry in Wodonga, Australia is today welcoming community members to site, celebrating its 70th anniversary milestone.
Since its establishment in 1954, Bradken Wodonga has been at the forefront of innovation and quality and has grown into a cornerstone of the local manufacturing landscape, serving customers around the world with high quality wear parts for mining equipment.
Site Manager, John Nelson, is one of just five people to ever lead the site, which currently employees about 160 people.
“Reaching our 70th anniversary is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and resilience of our employees, past and present,” Mr Nelson said.
“Our people are our greatest asset, and their commitment to excellence has driven our success over the years.
“We are also deeply grateful to the Wodonga community for their ongoing support and partnership.”
To celebrate 70 years in operation, Bradken is hosting a community open day at its Queen Street foundry. The event aims to honour the contributions of employees and reflect on the journey to this significant milestone. Past employees and family members have been invited to attend.
Bradken CEO Sean Winstone is visiting for the event and said that as Bradken looks ahead to the future, the company remains committed to its legacy of excellence and meeting the evolving needs of its customers in the resource sector.
“While we take this moment to celebrate our past achievements, we are equally excited about the future,” said Mr Winstone.
“Bradken Wodonga leads the way in manufacturing excellence, and we’re focussed on being a trusted partner for our customers and a proud member of the Wodonga community.”
Bradken Wodonga joins the broader company with its commitment to being carbon neutral for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2030.
