New Office Boosts Bradken's Capabilities

Bradken reached a key milestone supporting the growth of our innovative mining business recently with the opening of our new office in Coimbatore, India.

Based in Coimbatore city, the site provides convenient access to key local talent and also supports our inclusion and diversity goals by providing a more accessible workplace option.

The teams located at this new site will support our growth by increasing our capacity and efficiency in developing innovative products and services and reducing our go-to-market lead times in response to customers’ needs.

This increase in capacity and operational efficiency will improve Bradken’s go-to-market effectiveness, as the team will focus on developing concepts into detailed engineered designs by embracing innovative solutions. This focus will support a faster process for Bradken to take products to market around the globe.

The teams based at the new site mainly include Marketing and Technology people, who deliver a broad range of expertise and knowledge across Product Development, VWR, Technical Engineering Support, Marketing Support, Data Analytics and Digital solutions, as well as IT Support.

EGM Marketing and Technology, Mark Hurley said the teams were an integral link in bolstering our capabilities to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions to our customers around the globe and creating an operational efficiency that will support our goal of delivering innovative products to market faster.

“As we grow our mining business this hub will play an important role in our global support,” Mark said.

“I was pleased to join the team at the new office this month to celebrate its opening and welcome them to Bradken, and I look forward to seeing our Coimbatore team integrate with our global team of engineers. Supporting the design production of our crawler systems, GET, buckets, fixed plant and bulk handling equipment, as well as mill and crusher liner optimisation, with an emphasis on manufacturability and material specifications. In addition to design engineering, the teams will provide specialist marketing and IT support.”

Gopalakrishnan Trikkur Sangameswaran, Region Manager – Central Engineering, who is leading the team based at the new Coimbatore site also spoke about this new venture and looks forward to the new challenge.

“I am excited to be a part of this journey in building and growing the team in India. With the support from the management, global teams and the Coimbatore foundry, this young and diverse team is ready to take on the challenges to fulfill Bradken’s vision”. Gopal said.
